Alona Rodeh, M.F.A Bezalel Academy of Art, Jerusalem, B. 1979, based in Tel Aviv.
Alona's work centre around sculpture and time-based installation, frequently assimilated within existing architecture. She exhibited widely in group shows in Israel and abroad, and presented four solo shows in Tel Aviv. Her unorthodox engagements include the initiation of self-organized collaborations with artists from various fields, such as sound and light design; set, stage and costume design for various dance, theatre, film and art projects and conceiving event oriented interventions in artistic spaces as well as in the public sphere.
